  • Background
    Blackmoor Nurseries is one of the UK’s main soft fruit tree producers. As well as selling their trees to wholesalers, they began selling direct to consumers several years ago, and developed an e-commerce site fairly early on, which brought in significant amounts of business. The problem was they didn’t have a marketing department, or a plan of action for their brand – so the site didn’t do their brand justice. Neither did their product labels, which were detracting from the quality of their products.
  • What we did
    We got involved with Blackmoor, initially because they wanted a new logo. But we quickly realised they needed more input than that. So we ended up working with them more as their outsourced marketing team, rather than just their designers, advising on their overall direction, and coming up with a fresh new look for the business. We then applied their new branding across a new e-commerce site and all their product labels – as well as a range of other communications, including advertising, catalogues and their Facebook page.
  • The results
    Since we launched Blackmoor’s newly-designed website four years ago, the business has seen 40% growth year on year. They attribute that growth directly to the work we’ve done on their branding and their marketing strategy.
